Parham Kebria
Parham has shown his talent and enthusiasm in music, and especially, in rhythm and started learning Tombak at the age of 10. He had accomplished the well-known books of Maestros Hossein Tehrani and Bahman Rajabi in a short period of time. After visiting several Tombak teachers and players with various playing styles, Parham went to Maestro Farbod Yadollahi and completely learnt his novel style and education system for Tombak. Moreover, Parham has performed in a variety of ensembles for different music festivals in Iran. He now pursues his musical career in Toranj Art Centre, in Melbourne, Australia.
Reza Kashi
Initiated his music career from 1998 in Iran. He plays Setar, Tar (both are Iranian tradition musical instruments) and Oud. Succeeded to achieve some interstate rewards until 2008. He was praised as the second rank Tar soloist in Iran in “Fajr Youth music festival” which is the biggest solo competition in the country. Migrating to Australia in 2017 has brought him the opportunity to cooperate with different ensembles ranging from middle east to western and Australian artists.
Hamidreza Khishavand
Born on 31st October 1984 in Dorood, Lorestan. Started learning Santoor at the age of 13 with Mr Shojaei in his home town. He continued his music journey with several teachers and was fascinated with Maestro Meshkatian playing method and technique when he visited Mr Movahednia in Amol, one of the Meshkatian’s students. He had the honour to meet Maestro Majid Kiani and attend his Radif classes for a short period of time before he migrates to Australia. He has performed in several concerts and performances in Iran and achieved the 2nd place in National Youth Festival in Persian Group Playing part with Bahman Cultural Center music group in 2010.
