Cultural Marquees:
4 Marquees 3m x 3m have been allocated free of charge to Community organizations that have applied and been approved.   The marquees will be provided to present their cultures.  The theme of the festival is the Culture of the people of Eastern Mediterranean.   They will be able to sell cultural artifacts and approved foods, drinks, and refreshments.  All proceeds will be retained by the organizations.

Requirements:
Represent a culture from Eastern Mediterranean.
Decorate and present their tents as a representation of their cultures.
Costumes of their culture should be worn by at least two persons.
Shows - they should present one or more shows of their cultural dancing, cuisine, music, or visual arts & handcrafts, etc.  
Insurance - they will need to have current public liability insurance.
Street Trader/Food License - they will need to check with and obtain from the City of Melbourne any relevant licenses.

Food Vendors:
3m x 3m tents will be available to food vendors.  The hire will be $1000 per marquee. If you bring your own marquee, it will be $600.  You will be able to cook and sell food.  You will need to obtain necessary public liability insurance and street trader/food licences.​
Musicians, Dancers, & Other Cultural Shows:
Both performing and visual artists are invited to apply to participate in the festival.  It is imperative that the presentation is suitable to the theme of the festival - The Music and Culture of Eastern Mediterranean.  Performers are expected to be ready to commence their act at least half an hour prior to their allocated time.  The Festival committee reservers the right to delay their starting time up to one hour, and/or to refuse to allow the act from taking place without pay if the performers are not ready on allocated time. 
Conditions for All Participants:
The festival is designed for Harmony and promotion of the shared values and culltures of all communities of Eastern Mediterranean.  The participants must strictly adhere to the prohibitions listed below.  Offenders may be removed or their act cancelled without pay.  The Festival organizers also reserve the right to take legal civil action on any offending person or organization.  Community organizations displaying hatred and enmity towards others will not be invited.

Prohibitions:
1.   Flags and other similar items.  Small national flag amblems on traditional costumes are acceptable.
2.  Political statements, presentations, or displays. 
3.  Hate and/or abusive speach, presentations, or displays offensive to other communities.
4.  Drunken, drug influenced, or disorderly behaviour.
5.  Aggression towards other persons or organizations.
